This book was fast-paced with a great twist. The novel kept me reading and engaged the entire way through. There was really strong character development, and there was not an overly hyped-dramatic ending. The characters were actually likable to my surprise -- even the bad ones. This was a thriller for the intellectual. It wasn't very easy to guess, but it also wasn't so outlandish that you couldn't believe it. I thought the sleuthing was just the right amount to keep the reader engaged throughout. This book was a true pleasure. I highly recommend this book for those who are over "the killer is in the closet/what should I do now?" books. I will be reading more from this author in the future.
