I have heard rumors that this book will be a movie, I am really hoping that is the case. This book had me from page one. I think it was well written and loved the fact that it kept you in suspense until the very end. The main character is helping an old friend with legal advice only to become blackmailed into defending him. Further into the investigation into what really happened the night Amanda was brutally murdered Lizzie starts to suspect her own husband. Having to cover and protect her husband from his alcohol abuse has finally worn her down and she is starting to see holes in his story. His black outs even leave him wondering what happened that night and where did the earring come from that could destroy his marriage and the life his wife is desperately trying to save.
