Thank you to Bookishfirst and Harper for this book. I read Kimberly McCreight's first book Reconstructing Amelia and I knew I wanted to read this one too. The plot was the perfect psychological thriller I imagined. Just when you think it is the typical husband murder and you have it all figured out, it goes in another direction totally.

There were a few suspects and a lot of characters who could have done it. It kept the book interesting especially with Zach's lawyer being a law school "friend." I felt bad for Lizzie since it was not her "forte" and she was not a criminal lawyer who really wanted to defend him but got suckered into it and sort of felt bad for him. She already had problems in her own life and really did not need more.
