What a great legal thriller this story is!
There is just something about this book that I found so fascinating. There is so much drama and angst, yet it’s skillfully crafted to keep you on the edge of your seat. Just when you think you might understand what’s going on, there’s a twist that throws you in another direction. I had no idea who killed Amanda until the very end, which was a welcome surprise.
What I loved most about this book was how my own loyalties to the characters shifted during this book. I was rooting for one character for a good while, only for their true colors to be exposed. You never really understand the characters until all was revealed, even though you thought you knew them all along.
