Usually, the thriller/mystery genre is not my preference but A Good Marriage made me interested in reading more of them. This is a Realistic lawyer thriller/mystery that was intriguing from the first moment of the audiobook. Lizzie Kitsakis is the main character who is working for the prestigious Young and Crane law firm for her own personal backstory reasons. Her former law school friend Zach Grayson calls her from Rikers prison after his wife was murdered. He wants Lizzie to represent him. Two different storylines develop throughout this book. We learn about Lizzie’s life challenges and why she agrees to help Zach. Simultaneously we get to know Amanda and her friends during the days before she was murdered. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters as their personalities developed through the pages. I was hooked and needed to figure out who killed Amanda.
