This book was fantastic! It was relentless and fast-paced thriller with great character development and language. Some of the phrasing is just beautiful and eloquent. I instantly became enthralled with Lizzie, the ambitious lawyer trying to make it at a big law firm while keeping her marriage together. She is asked to represent an old law school friend, Zach, who is accused of his wife Amanda’s murder in Park Slope, Brooklyn, an area of New York where the successful, rich families have secrets aplenty. We go back and forth between Lizzie and Amanda as the timelines start to align as it gets closer and closer to the day of Amanda’s death. After hearing the buzz, I picked A Good Marriage as my May Book Of The Month. I’m so glad I did!
