Did Zach kill Amanda? And what is he hiding? I felt for poor Lizzie as she tried to navigate trying to help Zach and keep her own struggling marriage afloat. With puzzle after puzzle this book kept me turning pages. The book jumps back to before Amanda's murder and you get to see her movements and thoughts days before she was killed. Poor Amanda, being stalked, scared out of her wits, confused and always looking over her shoulder. Zach, the inattentive husband who seems to know nothing about his wife of over 10 years. Lizzie, the lawyer stuck in a firm she wouldn't have willing chosen, tries to sort out everyone's movements and motivations, including her own husbands. The twist at the end I definitely didn't see coming.
