Have you ever read a book and thought, wow, that was a wild ride! And you’re so happy to have gotten some answers, but there are still questions!? A Good Marriage is what I would describe as a psychological thriller, with some legal thriller sprinkled in, and then woven throughout are dives into marriages and relationships. Lizzie is a lawyer, forced into a private firm due to some circumstances out of her control. When she gets a call from an old law school friend, she unwillingly takes on his case (assault of an officer turned murder), and he emphatically claims his innocence. As she continues to dive deeper into his life, he’s starting to look more and more guilty, but she still must defend him or risk putting her own life in jeopardy. I really enjoyed this one!
