I am a huge HUGE fan of Reconstructing Amelia so I jumped at the chance to read A Good Marriage. While it was "ok" I still found it lacking and missing something.
So Lizzie Kitsakis is a lawyer in a demanding job where she is trying to make partner. She gets a call from a old friend from college (or university as they say) who is being accused of killing his wife. Zach (the friend) feels that Lizzie is the only one who can help prove he didn't kill his wife Amanda.

Honestly, I felt that this was a repeat of a story I had already read. There were a lot of secrets, twists etc, but there hit a point where it was just too much. I think I actually yelled at one point "Come on already, just tell the damn story"

I was disappointed because the book started off so strong! I mean I couldn't wait to see what happened, but there was just too much. Every cliche you could find was in this book. I love Kimberly McCreight's work and her writing in this book was still good, but I think the direction of the book just wasn't clear,
