I was not sure what to expect by this one. You learn right in the beginning that Amanda has been murdered. The story is told from her timeline up to the night that she was killed and then from the lawyers point of view. The lawyer was hired by Amanda's husband, as he was arrested for the murder of his wife.
You will learn that everyone has secrets in this one. The whole neighborhood is a bunch of super shady people. It's written in a way that even when someone is telling the truth you can't trust them. Also the lawyer has all her own issues and her husband is having issues that he is keeping from her.
This one definitely pulls you right in. I was surprised how much I liked it. I did the audio on this one and it was a good read!
