This was such a great legal thriller - keeping you on the edge of your seat and reading way late into the night.
I loved the writing style - chapters alternative between Amanda’s point of view in the days leading up to her death and present day Lizzie (a lawyer) working to uncover what happened and getting her client Zach out of Rikers. Quickly into this book, we realize that all of the characters have secrets, some more complicated and dark than others.
I thought this was creative and I loved the way it all came together - I was able to get some of it but not all the pieces. This was fast-paced and I loved trying to unravel who did it and why.
