This was a binge read for me! I’ve read a lot of domestic suspense lately, and this story has some domestic suspense elements, but it’s also a legal thriller....AND I am all the way here for it!
It’s refreshing to read from Lizzie the attorney’s perspective!
I thought one particular line from the book sums up the story quite well..."A distant marriage, a sex party, a dead wife. You don’t have to be a genius to put the pieces together.”
For me the pacing of this book is perfect. I enjoyed the characters a great deal, especially Lizzie. This book had great plot twists and what I really enjoyed was that they weren't all saved for the end of the book. They were spaced throughout with perfect timing that kept pulling me into the story. I gave this 5 stars!
