First of all the cover suggests some drama. There is a photo of a woman's face that appears torn. After reading the excerpt, it appears accurate to the tone of the story. What is awesome about this story is how quickly you get to some action. Zach is accused of assault but seemingly will be charged with the murder of his wife, Amanda. She is found dead after a swinger's party. He calls an old friend, Lizzie, a lawyer to ask her to represent him. I liked the introduction of the drama before being introduced to Zach's wife. It grabbed me as the reader. I am looking forward to finding out if Lizzie represents Zach and if Zach is a murderer!
