What I enjoyed about this book from the start is the way the reader is drawn into the mind of the woman who is sharing her story from the results of the events that led her to present day. Lizzie is immediately the type of character draws the reader in because she is a strong, client centered lawyer. The author immediately gives the reader insights into Lizzie's personality by the client that contacts her at the beginning of the book. I am eager to go on the journey with this character and learn more about the turns her life took. I loved the cover art of this book. It uses a great use of colors and photo of the woman on the front is just creepy in a good way!
