Wow .. the cover drew me in as I wondered who is this woman staring at me. Is she dead, what secrets does she have and how is she connected to the book.
From the very start with the Prologue, this book had me hooked. In the prologue we meet a character who is either in jail or an institute and it is clear it is because they possibly killed someone. But who is this character, where are they and who did they kill?
Then we meet Lizzie who gets a call from an old law school friend who wants to hire her as his defense lawyer for assault and possible murder. But why Lizzie when she has only dealt with white collar criminals before?
Then we meet Amanda, the woman who was killed and Zach's wife. She seems to have a lot of secrets and I want to know them all!!! She gets a mysterious call and is shaken up by it, but why and who was it?
Then you meet Sarah, a friend of Amanda's. She wants Amanda to go to the PTA meeting because the school's list has been hacked. Why does she want Amanda there, who and why hack the school, and what did the hacker find out.
I am also curious as to this party that Zach and Amanda attended the night of Amanda's death. Is it a swingers party and which characters are caught up in this web of secrets?
Really want to continue to read this book to find out how all these things come together. Seems like a book that will keep you guessing and wanting more...
