As a McCreight fan I was expecting to like this...and I was right. I can feel secrets bubbling right below the surface, from each of the main players. I love that the murder victim has a voice with her chapters dated before her demise. This lends another layer to the story, where we get to know Amanda before her death. Slightly reminiscent of Reconstructing Amelia in that way. Will I read the rest of it? ABSOLUTELY.
