First of all, I really like the cover. The picture of the woman sideways makes me think of a dead person even though she doesn't actually look dead in the photo. It's eye catching for sure.
I really enjoyed this excerpt. Starting off with the murder really grabs you in and leaves you wanting to know how it all got to this point. I have to admit the mention of the swingers party is also a little captivating. Then you are introduced to Amanda and her backstory. You see all the details of her relationship with her friend Sarah, as well as her husband. You can tell that she has insecurities right from the start. I'm definitely curious to see where this story goes and I look forward to reading this book it in its entirety.
