Big Little Lies is one of those books I'm always trying to recreate the feeling of, and this one feels like it fits the bill. I like that it's placed in New York, and love that it's obviously going to introduce us to a wide cast of characters a little bit at a time without revealing the whole plot or how they all play into it. My biggest criticism is that they tell you who died right off, I would love if they left Amanda's name out of the initial conversation with Lizzie so that we wouldn't know right away who it was and would have to untangle it as we went.
