This book had me from the start!
The main character receives a call from an old acquaintance who is currently sitting in prison for assaulting a police officer. However he is about to be charged with a more serious crime, murder of his wife. He wants the main character to defend despite her lack of experience.
I'm hooked. I definitely want to read this book and see where it goes!
