The book opens with a prologue, but you don't know who wrote it. I assumed it was a female, but after reading the first chapter, it could easily be a male. The first chapter is from Lizzie's point of view. She is a lawyer and hears from an old college classmate... who is in prison and needs her help. There is clearly more to this story as the next two chapters set up... and I just want to read more!
