I loved the first chapter—where Zach calls Lizzie from Riley’s, desperate for her counsel. I’m immediately drawn into the mystery—what happened to his wife? And the trial transcript seems like it could be an interesting format. But then we segway into rich people problems (private schools, designer couches) and it lost me. Give me some average, everyday characters. I need a break from people with kids named Case.
