This book immediately caught my eye. This storyline is what I look for when I’m reading. Quick. Easy. Straight into the character. It grabs you.
I knew I’d love Lizzie. She’s hard working, driven, and modest. She knows who she is, how she got there and what she wants to be.
In comes a strange, random phone all from an old law school buddy she could have never expected. Now she’s throw into his life with all its drama and she doesn’t quite know what to do. Does she help her old friend, or does she pass him off to someone else.
Mix this in with the court documents and witness statements from the trial and you have an honest to goodness whodunit. Do you trust Lizzie and her friend. Is there more to the story we don’t know??
