My first impression of A Good Marriage by Kimberly McCreight is that it seems like a tightly wound thriller with legal elements and complicated relationships. I enjoyed the way the storyline vacillates between past and present and across different settings, including a grand jury testimony transcript. The cover would make me pick up the book if I was browsing in a book store. I am eager to find out what what happens next!
