That prologue- wow!! I love it when authors hook the reader with the very first paragraph of their book. Kimberly McCreight does that right away!
I am intrigued to find out why Lizzie can’t defend her friend Zach. Does it have something to do with the Sleepover Soirée?? I also am curious to find out why Lizzie panicked when she heard that the collect call was from prison. It sounds like Lizzie’s backstory is going to be quite a doozy. I can’t wait to read more!! If it is anything like Reconstructing Amelia it will be unputdownable!!
