As a fan of Kimberly McCreight’s previous books, I’m really looking forward to reading A Good Marriage. McCreight is an author who never disappoints. Her heroine Lizzie Kitsakis is an attorney at an elite New York law firm when she receives an unexpected call from an old boyfriend who is being held at Riker’s Island after having been charged with murdering his wife. He insists he is innocent and asks Lizzie to investigate and she somewhat reluctantly agrees. It looks like there are plenty of plot twists awaiting readers as Lizzie finds that nothing and no one are what they seem. I can’t wait to read it!
