I am loving this new genre of strong woman figures and especially this new genre of Asian and Chinese culture.
I absolutely adored The Descendant of The Crane which came out a couple of years ago and had the same ideas and plotlines.
This genre is quickly becoming one of my favorites to read. It has been so entertaining to dive into another genre that not many people write about or even learn about.
Personally, I believe that this book has strong characters, an interesting plot, and a beautiful cover. I love a gorgeous cover (and I know as readers we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but personally I do, and thankfully this book's judgement by its cover held up with my judgement of the plot).
Overall, I would without a doubt recommend this book to other readers, even those who are not usually fans of young adult age novels or books.
