I love retellings and can't think of the last time I encountered a Treasure Island one! And a retelling with lady samurai and beautiful cover art - count me in!! My one comment would be that it is classified as young adult, but from the opening I got more of a middle grade vibe. Maybe that changes further in or there is content that justifies the classification?
