I didn't realize there was a whole line of "remixes" from Macmillan Children's Publishing Group, and this one looks like a really good setting. The gorgeous cover and the China-adjacent setting should add a lot of atmosphere--although the cover looks and the tale sounds less like I'd expect from an early-19th-century setting, and more like a 14th-century setting, etc.
