Although the trope of finding pirate's treasure is definitely overused, I really like the setting that author uses. It provides a twist on the traditional image of pirates in the Atlantic. With the indian ocean trade routes being one of the busiest routes during the time period, I'm excited to see what the author has to offer with this brilliant new settting.
