Straight away, I loved the way the writing of the story painted a clear and vivid picture, while still being lyrical and imaginative. I likes how the story started off with the parents on the South China Sea telling the tale of the Dragon Fleet and then flash forwarded to years later to the Guangdong Province of China with no mention of it. Although, I do suspect it will come up later in the story.
