What I liked: The turn of phrase the author has in description, the young wild female main character, hearing about the female pirate who had control over the seas.
What I did not like: Ultimately, I did not like the voice of the main character and felt like it was not get me my engagement.
What I am curious about: Why did (female pirate) stop having such control over the seas? What was her demands? What was so great about it that she gave up all the influence she had? Where is the treasures?
