What first struck me while reading this first impression was the vivid imagery, as I could almost hear the unforgiving storm waves hitting the deck and yells being drowned out by the ocean’s roar. The author did a really great job of setting the scene and transporting the reader into the story. I also can tell that I’m probably going to really like the main character, Anh, since she gives me serious Belle vibes (regarded as weird by her town, wanting adventure and to see the world). I look forward to see where this story goes!
