I adore how the author uses description! Her words really make the story come alive. The action packed beginning make this book really easy to get into. I loved the image of Xiang yearning to travel and, when unable to do so, travels through books and words, and I really liked the dynamic between Xiang and Master Feng. I did think there were some weirdly repetitive lines but this isn't a final draft so that's to be expected. I'm very excited to read this book!
