The first two things that draw me into a new book are the cover and the first sentence. Yes, I know we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but the attention to detail and care for creating a beautiful cover often tells a lot about the effort put into crafting a story. This cover is gorgeous!
Then there is the first sentence. I was already hooked after reading it that I continued the entire prologue before realizing I had meant to consider just the first paragraph before moving on. Needless to say, I’m excited to dive into this book!
