I am a HUGE sucker for retellings. Fairy tale, classic, you name it, I am interested in reading it. This book takes a fantastic premise, retelling "Treasure Island" one modern literary revisionists rarely touch. I love the focus on making these retellings focus on POC, in this case, Asian Americans.
