A beautiful start to a very interesting story!!
The first thing that caught my attention to this book was the stunning cover! It tells so much about the story inside its pages and I couldn't wait to see what was inside.
We only get to read the prologue and part of the first chapter and I was honestly hooked from the very first page. The prologue opens with an intense storm and provided action right from the start which I loved. The scene building done in the beginning of the first chapter was so pleasing and vivid. It really captured the essence of Chinese landscape in my opinion.
I'm really interested in reading the rest of this story and find out more about Anh and Xiang and their adventures together!
