The first few pages seemed as if this might be a fun, quick read but after getting in a little further, I was a little bored with the tale. At times the search for the donor seemed like a believable road trip that would lead to some sort of resolution, other times I wondered if I could make it through to the end. There were times that I thought the author was mocking the situation and then there would be a section when I felt very sad for the searchers. The book just didn't seem to flow and I had a hard time connecting with the characters.
I really wanted to know how everything turned out but just couldn't bring myself to finish the whole book. Maybe when I am bored on some cold winter day I will pick it up again just to say I finished it.
