It's difficult to write an opinion when you only have a small part of the book to read. My thoughts are only based on the excerpt.
This book begins with the sassiness of a 16-year old and her single mother. KT appears to pretty much be raising herself, as her mother moves from one boyfriend to the next. KT's father walked out on her mother before KT was even born.
Though KT said some heated words, it made her mother finally give her the information she has been wanting....where KT could locate her father.
According to the summary for this book, there are three characters involved in the plot. KT will apparently find out the she has two-half siblings. The three of them will set off on a journey to locate their biological father.
Sounds like it's going to be an interesting journey!
