Just these kids' names give indication of the ride you are in for with 806....Kit, Abracadabra and Swimmy are all so different and yet all share the same goal...finding their biological father. Their differences have kept them apart thus far, but this common goal brings them together on one of the funniest road trips ever. I found myself hoping throughout the book that this guy would end up being the most amazing and wonderful and welcoming man ever, rather than just a 'sperm donor' so that all of their individual needs were met in one neat package. I think that they discover, more importantly, that being more open-minded and looking beyond stereotypes is far more valuable, and leaves them with a connection that will live on well past this trip.
