I'm a little bit torn with this book, there were times I enjoyed it and times where I really wasn't into it. First, the cover art is simple and beautiful, and it's what first attracted me to the book. The first half of the book wasn't so great for me, I really was not invested in the characters at all and I didn't really enjoy the main character who's telling the story. A lot of their journey seemed really unnecessary, just random quick things happening where there could have been more time spent developing the characters instead to make me like them more. Towards the end however, I started to enjoy the story more, and I liked how the story ended. This was a very quick read for me, and overall it was ok, a good idea but didn't quite get there in my opinion.
