Not an impressive first chapter. I like the that it's a single mom struggling with dating and working at a fast food place, but KT didn't win me over. I can't say there's anything wrong with it, but it feels so typical. Nothing hooked me. I don't have any urge to continue and couldn't care less. *shrug*
