I definitely loved the description of the book I read before I read the first chapter and am interested to see how it moves forward and weaves together! I generally don't like it when authors write books about bands and write lyrics (they are usually lame), so hopefully that's not too overused. There were several very clever lines in the first few paragraphs, like how she wanted to make her mom write "no one likes needy" over and over, however which definitely made up for the cheesy lyrics.
