This book is about a young man named Jack who is the last real human while the rest of the world lives in sets of clone siblings. Althea-310 feels particularly attached to Jack and Jack feels alone in this world. From, this we get a great book filled with good moments.
I was surprised I liked this book as much as I did. I was skeptical of the plot, but a few chapters in and I started to really get a feel for the characters. I especially felt for Jack who longs for a world that no longer exists and never really did for him. He was a great narrator to follow along with.
This world was definitely original and interesting to read about. The only problem was that the book didn't necessarily feel like it had a structured plot, most of the time what happened next was up in the air. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it made the story feel somewhat lost.
However, it do feel like that was a somewhat minor thing and I still really enjoyed liked this book.
