Your One & Only is a young adult science fiction novel set in a future where humanity is extinct and only a society of clones remains. I found the strategic engineering of the clones and their mindset to be very believable. The book alternates between the perspectives of Jack, the sole human, and Althea-310, a clone. I appreciated Althea-310's character development as she saw their ways in a new light, and I was curious about many of the characters that were not featured as prominently, like the Nylas, or even the Meis and Kates. This book poses questions about what it means to be human, but there could have been more powerful moments. With such a fascinating premise, I expected more. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this if you enjoy science fiction!
