I loved the beginning hook. I was enthralled from the first paragraph (if not the first synopsis). I loved Althea's perspective, she was curious, sensitive, and I am really looking forward to how she grows throughout the book. I loved the tone of her narration and I have to see how this turns out! I am so fascinated by the world building! It's so unlike anything I've read in a while!
