Man. This book really hit me. It's definitely a reminder of how impactful our words and lack there of are.
When was the last time you TRULY stopped and listened to someone?! When was the last time you took the time to put your phone down, look someone in the eyes, and hear them out?! Probably not recent enough. We are all guilty of it though.
In this day and age, we spend WAY too much time interacting through and with technology... and certainly not enough with each other. Why do we take human interaction for granted? It's blatantly obvious that human touch does so much MORE for us than technology / online contact does.
This book surprised me. I didn't think I'd be interested in the topic, nevermind learn from it. Read it.
