He’s candid when speaking about his upbringing, family, religion, marriage, and feelings about the bike trip. The witty writing balanced out more serious parts. It’s hard not to think about your own relationships and how you respond to hardships while reading. This book is a nice reminder that humor can ease the burden of our difficulties and help us persevere.
