Wow! This excerpt was amazing. This books seems like a must read from the few pages I got to read already. This is a book I would definitely buy. I like the mix of old world fantasy and reality mixed together. The storyline seems really compelling and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I like the descriptiveness of the writing. I could feel the people’s hunger and panic as they were waiting for their food. How scary. The killing caught me off guard and now I have to know what happens. I love the cover art. This looks like a book I would be drawn to at the bookstore because of the cover itself. I will definitely be looking for this book once it goes on sale in stores soon.
