I was ready for a new, imaginative and original fantasy, and Woven in Moonlight did not disappoint. The author does a wonderful job of world building and creating complex characters. Just when you think you have your arms around the facts of the world — you think you know who the good guys and the bad guys are and what it will take for the good guys to come out on top — the main character leaves her home, and everything becomes jumbled all over again — in a good way. Once she lives in the new environment, you’re still guessing what’s the truth underneath all the politics. I look forward to reading more in this series and to seeing where this author takes her fabulously rich characters. If Woven in Moonlight doesn’t become a buzzed about series, I’ll be surprised.
