I loved this book! The characters were beautifully written and I absolutely enjoyed that each character had their own special magic that was unique to them. The cover of this book drew me in to read it. I really enjoyed leaning a bit of Bolivian culture as well as using some of my Spanish. I didn’t have to look up any of the Spanish words...I knew what they meant! I really enjoyed the way the relationship grew between Ximena and Rumi. And Ximena’s gift of weaving with moonlight and the animals coming to life off the tapestries! I would love to have a small army of woolen animals at my side! I throughly enjoyed reading this book and I’m absolutely stoked that there will be a second book in the series! Excellent world building!
